Best players available after Round 1
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ning-prospects
Can't tell me we aren't going to get a good player at 37. Now, hopefully it's Alexander or Jack.. |
Why has Alexander dropped to round two in the last week?
Also, how about Ragland? |
I'm not sifting through the mega thread, and I don't think it's worthy of its own thread, so hopefully y'all don't mind if I ask here. Does anyone else feel like we got hosed in the compensation for the trade down. I was hoping we'd get a third. Did SF not have a third?

Alexander was apparently due to some interviews. Idk, Idc. He fits what we want to do on defense. He can lock up one side while Peters ballhawks the other. He can be our version of Chris Harris Jr. |
Hackenberg.

I'd love for once to have 2 1st rounders |
I'm all in on Alexander, but it'll be our luck that he's drafted before we pick. I don't give a shit how he interviews, I give a shit how he plays football.
Runner up picks, Myles Jack, Jonathan Bullard. |

People need to realize something in this midst of all of this Paxton Lynch panic nonsense.
Lynch is and always has been nothing more than a big development project. Yeah, he would have fit here, sure. But that doesn't guarantee it would have worked. He wouldn't have touched the field for at least 2 years if I had to guess. It would have presented a distraction in the locker room. And that's not even to mention, his tape is downright f**king terrible at times. He was never forced to read defenses. So much was pre-determined in that offense. I'm just not that upset about it, at all. Meanwhile, we're a team trying to win it all right now. DJ, Hali, Smith, etc., these guys aren't getting younger. The mojo is in the locker room right now. If Dorsey can hit on these mid round picks, we're a much better team for the present, and future. QB is not yet a pressing need. |
He's a poor man's less polished Osweiler pugs. I think it's hilarious Denver was so desperate.

None of that means he won't be a good NFL player but it's something these guys talk themselves into each year. Ragland has an enlarged aorta and will need constant and consistent monitoring. As I mentioned in a related thread, I prefer Su'a Cravens to Ragland for the Chiefs, although I don't endorse an ILBer early. |
There's a ton of talented guys left. I think it's gonna be a DL.
|
With this trade, we can get starters at CB, LG, and some really nice depth elsewhere round 2-5.
