2017 RB class
Absolutely stacked with guys like Fournette, McCaffrey, Cook and Chubb at the top.
If we have to cut Jamaal, I'd love to draft one of these guys or whoever gets pushed down due to the amount of talent at the position. |
If Fournette is as good in 2017 as he was in 2016, I bet he goes top 5 easily. The kid is a beast.
The guy the Chiefs could probably draft is Cook and I love his run style. He is so decisive and has an insane burst. Definitely home-run hitting speed. It's like he's shot out of a cannon every carry. The guy basically was FSU's offense this year. I think he'll be a good one in the NFL because he doesn't dance in the hole and he can do everything well. He's alot like Zeke Elliott was this year. Chubb reminds me of Frank Gore. He's got some power in that frame and also runs with good vision. Longer legs for short guy that helps with some good speed down the stretch. I really like McCaffrey. Kid is just a machine on the field. I'd like him alot more if he was just a hint faster because I can see some quality NFL ability there. It's too bad Jabrill Peppers is probably a top-15 pick as a hybrid LB/Safety because he's also a really good running back. That is, if he declares. There are some good backs after them too. If you like big-boy backs similar to Derrick Henry, then you have Hurd from Tennessee. Semaje Perine from Oklahoma is no slouch. He's a Steelers type of running back, just a big ol' bowling ball with some speed. Wayne Gallman from Clemson looked good this year. I want to see if he does it again in 2016, but the kid is solid. Overall, the 2017 class looks better than the 2016 class and this year's wasn't a bad class by any means. |
McCaffrey would be sick in this offense.
|
Chubb.
Heh. |
Another guy thats sick is Matt Brieda from Georgia Southern. As Andy Reid would say he's dirty tough for a smaller speed type back. Those runs at 2:17 and 8:05 are nice.

Still hurts that he wasn't a Hurricane, but I'd love to see him in red & gold. |
Cook is a very talented degenerate. Won't be shocked one bit to see him get into legal trouble or multiple league suspensions.

2017 RB class
This guy reminds me of Jamal Charles:

Alvin Kamara declared.
You wanna talk about a Jamaal Charles clone, this might be your guy. He's dangerous as hell; very natural pass catcher and extremely explosive. I'd take him over McCaffrey and would even consider him over Cook as I think he's better out of the backfield. He could essentially do everything that West does but much faster and with better agility. He's a ballplayer. |
I'm a huge Kamara guy.
I don't think there's any way the Chiefs go RB in the first. They'll pick a guy on Day Two or Day Three who can play, though. This RB class is ****ing stupid deep. |
Marlon Mack is more of a Charles clone than Kamara IMO.

I want to draft a RB. We need an offensive playmaker in the draft.
