Are there any good family-style take out places in KC?
 

Urban table has this short rib/wood fired chicken dinner for 4 take out they do during the fall, but aren't offering right now.

Are there any similar places around town? Bringing some friends dinner Saturday night and looking for options. No chicken.

No kidding? Wow.

This blows my mind. So much chicken goodness he can't ever have.
From soup to beer butt to wings to tenders to a 4 piece from Church's at 3 in the morning. Fried chicken, baked chicken, grilled chicken, chicken and dumplings, chicken pot pie, thai chicken on a stick with peanut sauce, kung pao chicken, chicken sandwich, chicken salad, teriyaki chicken...

He can do OK if it's a well-sourced chicken, and if he keeps it light consumption.

I remember one time when we were kids, a Chick-Fil-A opened in the Battlefield Mall, and they were handing out samples. He had one bite - a sample-sized bite at that - of CFA chicken and had trouble breathing for like 2 days after.

We always had ham or roast at holidays.

I have been able to nearly replicate my turkey dressing to accommodate him without any noticeable flavor difference.
