Team Depth Test for Sunday

OUT:
Ware
DFBG 2.0

IR
Charles
Ehinger

Questionable
Maclin

Will be interesting to see how the team responds and how the depth we have at these positions play.

Which player will have the biggest impact on Sundays game and Why?

Foles or West

Discuss...

Andy Reid

Ware and Smith are coming back soon, so we can survive against the Jags.

We can also survive a hit or two on the OL better than just about any team in the NFL. Fulton and Reid are high quality backups.

I think the emergence of Hill is helpful. I can see a receiver corps of Conley, Hill, Wilson and Thomas being fine. Maybe this will get some snaps for Demarcus Robinson, too, so we can see what we have there.

But if we're going to the Super Bowl this year, we need Maclin on the field. We can survive a game or two, though.

Losing Ware is a legitimate blow, though, and I wish we had brought Knile Davis back rather than hoping Bishop Sankey wakes up and plays like he's supposed to. Charcandrick is fine, and De'Anthony Thomas can play some in a pinch. But we are going to need Ware long-term to make this season successful.

This is the game Dee Ford becomes a household name. I've been saying he would be a star all along.

This may sound silly but I think the crowd will have the biggest impact this weekend. The noise factor will be difficult for the Jags hapless offense to produce points for 4 quarters.

The secondary should have plenty of opportunities for INT's.

Was there any word if ware passed the concussion test or if he was just being held out to recover from the concussion he had?

YayMike 11-04-2016 03:51 PM

I think west and bishop get about 10 carries each while it matters. After that could be Thomas or even Sherman...

Ive yet to see Sherman carry the ball this year, few screen passes that's it

I don't think West can take 10 carries. Dude was banged up at the end last game. Looked like the same injury he had towards the end of preseason. Gonna be interesting to say the least.

The "optics" looked bad for the NFL when Smith got smoked twice. That's why he is sitting.

Agreed. I too wanted to bring Davis back. Coaches REALLY must not like him.

They should just give it to Sorenson but if they did they'll get accused of running up the score.

I wonder if Houston will get some snaps next week...
