Tyrod Taylor tries to get his money.
His salary for next year of 27.5 million is guaranteed only for injury.
So he goes and has surgery without consulting them today, saying he was hurt playing. After rumors of him being cut are coming out. Think he gets it? |
Oh man, that's either a really smart or really dumb move by him.
Smart if he gets it, dumb if he doesn't cause then that means chances of him ever landing a decent contract again is nil. |
Good move. They are already going to go another direction. He knows it. Bills know it. Go get that money, kid.

They are gonna fight this I think.
They keep saying he "elected" for the surgery. And the trash had no knowledge of it. |
Tyrod taking a page out of Kaepernick's book.
|
This is going to get nasty.
I imagine it will start a new wave of clauses in NFL contracts to prevent it from becoming a big problem. I imagine he won't get another big contract without major incentive type money. Didn't Buffalo sit him on purpose to avoid any possible injury? If so that's going to hurt Buffalo and their ability to sign FAs. |

go for it kid ... steal that shit |
It's in his contract. I don't see how that would be stealing, but
|
Don't care about legality or ethics- I hope he gets the money.

I am sure that there are pages after pages in the contract defining what "injury" is and how it is determined.
I would advise him not to spend that money just yet. |
Good for him. I hope he gets his $$$$
The Bills are an absolute train wreck of an organization But Taylor is backup QB material admittedly |
There was no way the Bills were going to let it play out so he could get it. Taylor probably knew it when he signed it too, as did the Bills. Hes not worth near that as a starting QB. Both sides know this. The Bills made the deal knowing they would just cut him before he could get the final 27.5 million.
Kind of shady what hes doing, but its even shadier what the Bills are trying to do. Hope he gets it. |
I've never heard of a contract stipulation that guarantees money based on injury. If so it would be insured and what insurance company would fall for that?
