Terez Paylor latest Mock. QB or CB..
http://www.kansascity.com/sports/nfl...144500799.html
12. Browns take QB Trubisky 25. Texans take QB Watson 27. Chiefs take CB Gareon Conley Ohio State No other QB gets selected in the 1st round. |
IMO, this is the perfect scenario where if they covet Watson to look to jump Houston instead of letting the draft play out this way.
|
Or say if Arizona or someone wants Mahomes that they would be willing to trade up to get him possibly giving up their next years 1st rounder.

I don't quite see a first round talent in Conley but have seen a few mocks including Paylor's with the Chiefs taking him at 27. Considering Paylor is a beat writer for the team, I'd wager he's heard some whispers from within the org. But we'll see.

Not a big Conley fan. His supporting cast padded his stats, namely Hooker and Lattimore.
I like Q. Wilson or F. Moreau as better fits and better players. |
Absolutely no need to draft a corner in the first round in this draft. Good starters will be available in the third round.
I'll be sick if Mahomes is on the board and we pass to take a corner. |

If we don't draft one of the top QBs this year the only thing that would dull the disappointment would be if they ended up trading for a 1st rounder next year. Then at least there would be hope that we would have the ammo or be in a position to get a top QB prospect in the 2018 draft. |
