27. Kansas City Chiefs — Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson: Alex Smith is a nice player, but it's time to start thinking about replacing him with someone who has the talent to eventually transform this team into a legitimate Super Bowl threat. Watson could learn the ropes from Smith in Andy Reid in 2017 before potentially supplanting the veteran quarterback a year from now.

I said it in another thread, but my gut says we end up with Watson.

My gut says we wind up with a DL or LB, and we go for Peterman in the 2nd.

This is pretty much my ideal situation -- Chiefs don't trade up, keep all their picks, and somehow land Watson.

I'll eat my words on this, I just know it, but how Watson falls out of the Top 15 picks is unbeknownst to me.

My prediction is that the top QBs will be gone by 27 so the Chiefs trade out of the 1st round, resulting in DJ's Left Nut popping a blood vessel in his head.

Very likely, we traded out of 28 last year to take Chris Jones in the 2nd. If we picked up an extra 3 we likely get another potential starter.
