Your Non-QB Top 10 at 27

Give me your list of who you 1) expect to be there at 27 and 2) would be happy with KC drafting. Doesn't necessarily need to be in order, just list your 10.

Here's mine:

1. Takkarist McKinley, OLB, UCLA
2. T.J. Watt, OLB, Wisconsin
3. Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado
4. Zach Cunningham, ILB, Vanderbilt
5. Evan Engram, TE/WR, Ole Miss
6. Chris Wormley, DT, Michigan
7. Jarrad Davis, ILB, Florida
8. Forrest Lamp, OT/G, Western Kentucky
9. Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida
10. Josh Jones, SS, N.C. State

I've been on the Mahomes train since my first mock in mid-January. To be honest, he's the only guy I actually want in Round 1 and pretty well has been. This is the list of guys that would ease the pain if the Chiefs don't get him.

Curious who you'd be happy with?

Direckshun 04-26-2017 11:48 AM

1. ILB Reuben Foster, Alabama (if he falls)
2. OLB Takkarist McKinley, UCLA
3. S Jabrill Peppers, Michigan
4. WR Curtis Samuel, Ohio State
5. OLB T.J. Watt, Wisconsin
6. OT Garrett Bolles, Utah
7. CB Adoree' Jackson, USC
8. ILB Jarrad Davis, Florida
9. CB Chidobe Awuzie, Colorado
10. OG Forrest Lamp, Western Kentucky

I like wormley, or kevin king.

Anyone else on your list would work. I'm just not a watt fan

I would have foster as my number 1 if I thought there was any realistic possibilty of his availability at our pick...

But there isn't

Coogs 04-26-2017 12:13 PM

I'll just go 4 instead of 10

John Ross
Corey Davis
Joe Mixon
Alvin Kamara

staylor26 04-26-2017 12:20 PM

1. Reuben Foster (though I agree he won't make it)
2. Corey Davis (same here)
3. Derek Barnett
4. John Ross
5. Jarrad Davis
6. Takkarist McKinley
7. Charles Harris
8. Zach Cunningham
9. TJ Watt
10. Joe Mixon

Frosty 04-26-2017 12:22 PM

John Ross
Budda Baker
Kevin King

Happy/content with any of the top 8 CB's (I trust Dorsey and I don't know enough about Awuzie, Humphrey, King, Conley, etc., to tell you the better fit for KC), top 3 WR's should one fall, Njoku, Lamp, Foster or Davis, McKinley or Bowser.

RunKC 04-26-2017 12:41 PM

Nobody mentioning Tyus Bowser?

Dude is a Dorsey prospect through and through. He's also got significantly more experience than Ford did coming out.

Sandy Vagina 04-26-2017 01:00 PM

01. Haason Reddick, LB, Temple
02. Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama
03. Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama
04. Tre'Davious White CB, LSU

( Trubisky would be here, as my only first rd QB )

05. Taco Charlton, EDGE, Michigan
06. Forrest Lamp, OL, Western Kentucky (starter quality/depth for OT and OG)
07. Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida

wouldn't mind a small trade back here, but at 27, still smiling...

08. Obi Melifonwu, CB/S, Connecticut (think Thomas + Harris can make him a great press RCB)
09. Cam Robinson, OL, Alabama (starter quality/depth for OT and OG.. offers more power)
10. Derek Rivers, EDGE, Youngstown State

kccrow 04-26-2017 02:05 PM

I see Charlton as a 4-3 only DE, but maybe that's me. I see a couple of you have him in there.

I do like Rivers, but not sure I'd reach that far for him. I'd like him at 59. He reminds me alot of Dee Ford though.

Lord that's an ugly group.

Trade down and be pissed that our gutless GM stood there and let his board get massacred.

But barring that option, Cunningham and Wormley would be my preferred options. Ross would be high up there if still available. Foster would be at the top but I'm assuming he and Reddick are gone in our hypothetical. Baker would be a suitable get, though with guys like Williams likely to be available later, I'd hate doing it.
