Just out of curiosity, where did your father graduate high school?

My pop graduated from South East, of all places, back the late 50's. He never dreamed it would like it is now when he's almost 80. He says it's a shame because he was in a great part of the city back then.

Anyone else care to say?

Back when he went there it looks like the place was about 97 white people, a black guy, his native wife, and their son, living on about a half of a square mile in the middle of nowhere.

My dad only made it to 8th grade before he went to work in the newspaper business at 15 years old.

My dad went here. Grew up a bit north of Fairyland Park. I remember driving by that when we'd visit my grandmother. It was a shitty neighborhood in the early 80's when we were heading that way.
