Is Albert Wilson... good now!?!?

Tonight's big catch was huge and hugely impressive, but Albert Wilson has been doing little things right all season. This is surprising, considering he has been, uh, not very good at football for most of his career to this point.

He's clearly not as good as the Holy Trinity, and he's probably still the 3rd best WR behind Conley, but... is Albert friggin' Wilson actually good now!?!?

He had a good play I wouldn't say he's good

staylor26 10-02-2017 11:02 PM

He looks like a totally different player this year. Contract year might have something to do with it.

He's had clutch catches in the past few games. He looks dramatically better this year than in years past.

While I'd tend to agree, Wilson was a small school guy and it's *possible* that it took three full seasons before the "light" went on.

And this is from Wilson's biggest critic.

Keep up it and then we'll all talk about him some more.

It would be funny if he were still bad but played good enough to sucker a bad team into paying him a lot of money

meh.. double-caught the "game-winner" along the sidelines, but he did have a couple of big moments. Not at all a good idea to crown him.

He has had some good moments for sure but he has also had some moment where he looked like well Albert Wilson.

Maybe you can say he is improved a bit but good I guess it would depend on your defintion of good

hometeam 10-02-2017 11:06 PM

I mean... hes a 3r or 4th receiver on any team and if we have a chance to upgrade from him nobody is going to bat an eye.

SO I give it a MEH

Ming the Merciless 10-02-2017 11:07 PM

He had his hustle going on for sure this game...

Rasputin 10-02-2017 11:08 PM

He is growing into being ok and has room to be good.

KCrockaholic 10-02-2017 11:08 PM

I'll give him credit that he makes more plays than Conley

JakeF 10-02-2017 11:10 PM

If he was a #4 wr/special teamer he would be good.

OldSchool 10-02-2017 11:11 PM

He's a good #4/5 receiver that you keep around because he can do multiple things for the team. Doesn't mean he should start or anything. Just good enough to keep on the roster and might give you a good play every now and again.

Is Long John Silver's good?
