Trick or Treaters
 

Are you ready for the little humans tonight? What's your set-up?

I have all my candy divided and organized as to type in different bowls. I'm pretty anal about how I organize candy by brands.

I will select each candy to match who is at my door. There has to be some automated way of dealing with this, so you can still read or watch TV. Any ideas for that?

I am already snitching bits and pieces. Hope I don't run out.

I'm about to freeze my ass off taking my two little girls. It's a cool 40 degrees here.

I save the bag of Reese's until last in hopes that I get them all to myself.

We haven't had trick or treaters come to our house in more than 15 years. We still buy candy "just in case", though its actually more for me than anything.

My friend turned his house into a mini haunted house. Kids will go through it before getting their treat.

I'm popping out of a coffin all night.

I take my kids out first then I sit in my driveway and play creepy music over a wireless speaker and pass out candy. No decorations, just me blaring music with candy. Kinda creepy in its own way, I guess

I get to pass out candy to the neighborhood kids. My kids are too old to trick-or-treat

Those both sound very cool. If hurricane Irma hadn't arrived, I would have created a white wooded front porch with my fog machine, owl hooting and sound effects—wearing my white witch costume. Just didn't have time. Sigh!

One year I wasn't home and my car got egged and my giant oak was full of toilet paper. Don't get egg'd.

How exactly do you select which kid gets which candy?

I use a secret formula. It's very subjective. :harumph:
