How do we end the Regular Season?
What will be our W/L record at the end of the regular season; barring a tie?
Poll forthcoming. (If a poll with this subject matter has already been posted then please delete.) |
I'm generously voting 8-8.

Every opponent is .500 or worse, but honestly the Chiefs are a .500ish team. In the end I think they outlast the rest of the division for the division, but loose in the WC round. Unless they get some unlikely match up with a backup caliber QB (Bryan Hoyer type) then maybe they advance to the 2nd round.

I was hoping we'd brainstorm some ways to forcibly end the regular season right now

Im picking 9-7. Its feasible.

Probably 10-6.
But if we end up losing tomorrow, idk man. |

10-6 and then one and done in the playoffs.

And I’m think the playoffs are not exactly a guarantee at this point based on their performance the past month. |

I have ran about every scenario I can think of through the playoff machine. It appears if we are going to win the West, we must do it outright. A tie with either the Chargers or Raiders at 10-6, the tie breakers go to either of them, and we would probably be the 6 seed. 9-7 ties are the same, unless there is a 3 way tie between us all, and then we would be out of the playoffs all together. |
Patrick Mahomes II throws for five hundred and five yards and eight touchdowns against the Broncos.
|
11-5, loss to the Chargers.

I'm stoked for next year and our future but it's time to kick start this machine. Patrick is going deliver a high octane offense. I think currently they are holding this team back from greatness the longer they don't start Patrick Mahomes II. |
