It was a big game for the Chiefs when Dick Enberg was on the call in the 90s.
|
He was awesome. My favorite broadcaster for sure followed by Summerall.

One of my favorite Enberg calls:

Damnit, he was such a joy to listen to growing up through the 90's and into the early 00's.
I knew it was a big game for KC when Enberg was on the call. RIP Ohhhh myyyyy indeed.... |
Such a good broadcaster. I’m gonna miss him.
Death sucks. |
My best Chiefs memories involve Dick Enberg and Bob Trumpy calling games in the early 90s, most notably the '94 Divisional Game against Houston.
The Jamarr Charll Game was also called by Enberg, and he was an enjoyable baseball broadcaster to listen to, doing Padres games at least through 2016, IIRC. |
The sports world has lost a good one.
He and Trumpy were awesome together. He had a nice blend of informative commentary and emotional investment in his play by play while Trumpy offered the staunch analysis and accurate characterization to the events unfolding on the field. It was always refreshing to hear Mr. Enberg call a game. RIP good sir. Thanks for the memories. |
Hate losing the good ones. RIP Mr Enberg.
Now, when its Joe Buck's time...... |
he always made san diego sound better than their record :D
|
Yet Cris Collinsworthless still lives
|
RIP.
I go back to the 60-70's Curt Gowdy and Al DeRogatis. |
