-- Beans - the past due thread.
Hi,
I'd like to know what beans you enjoy? How you make them? What side-items you include. Condiments atop their finished product. Just go on and on for months about nothing but beans, here. I love beans and they're super healthy, affordable and act as a virtual meat. Anyone ever use ham base? Anyhow - go on about your bean preferences! Today I'm fixing Great Northerns and Pintos / Medley - Ham hock as well :) All About Beans The Ham Loaf guy's procedure has been embedded below - as has a bean/Legume chart for reference (though incomplete) <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/D4ctOswfhbc" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://i64.tinypic.com/2wm0282.jpg |
I feel like I should make a big showing here, but I just can't.

Beans are kinda overrated, they're just kinda there to act as filler IMO
But I do make a killer Mexican style cold black bean dip with cilantro, tomato, onion and corn |

Like, when I go to a Mexican restaurant, I'll have a few good bites of the refries but theres always plenty of them left, yet the rest of the plate is clean |
