Wilkerson To Visit Chiefs
https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2018/...iefs-scheduled
The Kansas City Chiefs apparently have some interest in free agent DT Muhammad Wilkerson. According to Calvin Watkins of Newsday, the Chiefs are on Wilkerson’s free agent visit. Wilkerson, one of the top defensive linemen available, visited the Packers this week then it’s the Saints and then the Chiefs ... if he makes it to Kansas City and another team doesn’t sign him first. The Jets cut him last week two years into a five-year, $86 million contract so something was going on there. Wilkerson was reported to have shown up late to meetings with the Jets so he’ll have to show free agent teams how dedicated he is. Or he’ll just have to be so good teams put up with showing up late. The connection to the Chiefs is Bob Sutton, who was in New York for a couple years with Wilkerson. |

Again?

Wonder what it’s gonna take to sign him?
If he’s healthy and motivated would be awesome next to jo es |

But, Veach would be wise to pitch him the idea that Mahomes is going to be the next big thing and he’s going to be cheap for a few years so the team might be better than what GB and NO can provide. |

Get him. Just get it done.

Chiefs have a history of taking Jets leftovers.
Herm, Sutton, Revis, Becht... Could this be the one that actually works? That and the post-apocalyptic weather forecast at 11 |
He’s a year removed from people thinking he was as good as watt
If they can motivate him I’d be excited but motivating dl seems tough |
I won't be disappointed if we don't get him but Chiefs sure need Dline help. For sure Veach will bring in one or two FA dlinemen.

Him next to Jones could be cool

if it's only a brief guarantee then sure |
It’s not perfect but it could work out really well for the chiefs if he plays well. He’s a badass when playing hard.
|
Would not sign unless it’s incentive laden. I don’t want to give this guy any significant money unless his ass earns it.
