I'm surprised he's barely been talked about tbh. Sunday was the first time he caught passes in the NFL and imo those two catches were very good indeed. The fact that Pat had the confidence to target him must also be a big boost for the kid. It's gonna be interesting to see if Andy decides to get him more involved In the next few games.

It's a definite step in the right direction. If Yelder and/or Bell can develop into a legit TE, it gives us a lot of options.

If we need to run 2 TE sets, to run the ball or protect better, teams will at least have to respect their ability to run routes and catch passes.

Is it just me or does Kelce look slow

He's looked slow off and on since the Denver game last year.

Antonio Gates looked like he was running in quicksand for the last 4 years of his career and he was still effective.

Since Harris left the 2nd TE role has been a nightmare to deal with. So to see Yelder do well on Sunday is a good sign moving forward imo.

I miss 'ol stone hands, when ever a ball was thrown to him it was like a coin toss if he was going to catch it or not.

Kelce does look slow but his strides are 3 yards long.

He gets pounded by double teams every week. Fights through it and puts up numbers. Super impressed with his development as a player and a leader.

Kelce is getting his ass kicked every game. He's getting knocked around as much as Mitchell Schwartz is. Jamming him at the line, two guys riding him in that 5-10 yard zone, safeties coming up to lay hits when he makes it out of all that mess. Dude is earning his money out there.

Yes he’s looked slow to me also, but fortunately he’s still a top 1-2 TE in the NFL. Once Hill gets back, it’s going to be REALLY hard to cover all these guys.

Kelce and Sammy will likely benefit the most.

I could live without the TE screen from the 1 though
