Is anything less than a SB win a disappointment?

Yes?
No?

Yes, there have been some key injuries, but the Chiefs have gotten mostly healthy at the right time and the defense has come on strong. What do you think?

ChiefBlueCFC 12-17-2019 04:18 PM

Poll?

ChiefBlueCFC 12-17-2019 04:19 PM

and yes... I think anything less than playing in Miami is a disappointment

comochiefsfan 12-17-2019 04:20 PM

Absolutely.

This franchise hasn’t won one in 50 years. They have the personnel to do so, including the best player in the league.

The Patriots are down this year and they’ve already beaten the Ravens twice.

Everything is there for them to get it done. They just have to go do it.

Anything less that a conference championship is a major disappointment. It's way past time we got that Hunt trophy back.

I started to say yes on the poll, but I think I'm here. I'd obviously want to win a Super Bowl, but if the Chiefs played in a Super Bowl I'd call the season a win, whether they win or not.

I want a Super Bowl win, of course, but realistically I'd be happy with an appearance.

The Chiefs are playing their best all around football of the year right now. Defense is rolling, offense is starting to roll, special teams has been solid. If they carry this momentum into the playoffs, there's no reason to think they can't go to both NE and Baltimore and win.

That being said, I prefer NE **** up this week, so we only have to win 2 to get to the Bowl, instead of 3. But we can get it done either way with the team we've seen on the field the last few weeks. One path is just tougher than the other.

Go Chiefs!!

yes.

50 years.

sorry, Division T shirts from Price Chopper just don't have the same luster as they did back in the early 90's.

So no? Playing in Miami doesn't equal a win.

MahiMike 12-17-2019 04:37 PM

I've had reservations for Miami for 3 months. Who's coming with me?!

I was going to more or less say this. I want a SB victory but at this point I'd settle for AFCCG win. If we go to and lose a SB then my answer next year would be yes.

Megatron96 12-17-2019 04:49 PM

Often in the NFL, if not the vast majority of the time, every stage of success comes a step at a time.

Not long ago we dreamed of just getting into the playoffs, as a Wild Card.

Then it was winning the AFC-W.

Then a playoff win.

Then "get to the AFCCG."

Now we're at the "win the AFCCG" level.

The next step logically would be "get to the SB."

And then finally "win the Super Bowl."

So, speaking rationally, I can't say I'd be disappointed if the Chiefs didn't WIN the Super Bowl this year. Because we still have to win the AFCCG, then get to the SB, then win it.

But my gut tells me the door is practically wide open this year, and if we can win the AFCCG, we will win the Super Bowl.
