Any motorcycle mechanics here?

I know there are tons of car mechanics i can hire to come out etc, but any bike mechanics?

Can am Spyder was surging and hesitating, was told it might be fuel related as It happened both time when i filled up

I changed fuel filter and purge valve, now doesnt do the earlier signs, but now runs rough... Coil, plugs and wires are next, and to check vacuum hoses near the throttle body

Wish other than Reno Powersports dealership option, someone out there could assist and help on the side, of course willing to pay...

Thanks all

This used to happen on one of my Harleys. It was the result of overfilling. It would starve the fuel pump. Think trying to suck on a straw with your finger on the other end. Just one suggestion.

I did the purge valve blocking the hose to the cannister and seems to rev up nicely and have some power..

I am going to take it for a ride tomorrow as I have most of the panels off the bike and wires are exposed --

So took it out this morning, a little better but still missing some power

I am hoping the coil, plugs and wires fixes all of that

I did take the hose from the fuel tank out of the canister and rerouted it with a fuel filter on the underneath of the bike so the fumes can disperse

Sounds like you are on the right track. My buddy has a Spyder and he had similar issues. The cannister bypass worked for him
