Love Kevin Harlan. Even his NBA calls are electrifying. Just a joy to listen to.

EDIT: I was unaware Kevin had a hot daughter. Nice.

Love Harlan - never knew the Packers connection. Interesting

Kevin Harlan is one of the best play by play guys in the business. I would rather listen to him than Joe Buck or Jim Nantz any day of the week.

And I will go to my grave remembering: “I’m confused. Which game are you calling?” “I’m calling both games!” That was pure awesomeness. And Harlan as the former voice of the Chiefs being able to do it made it all the better.

Love that. I never knew he was the former voice of the Chiefs, but I loved hearing his calls.

for some reason, i always thought he did the tv commentary for the scratchie game 'let's go to the races'.

Harlan's family still resides in KC I believe. He was a regular guest in Kietzman's show for years having done radio work for the team for almost a decade during the Carl Peterson era. I think he is a hybrid Packers/Chiefs fan but can't say for sure. One of the best sports (not just football) announcers of our generation for sure.

Universally loved. Harlan is a great announcer in that his calls are clear, concise, entertaining, and most importantly positive. He has never needed to go "click-bait", spewing hot takes, denigrating others to stir up controversy like so many of his (hack) contemporaries.

The Harlan/Green pairing is my favorite on CBS. No knock on Nance/Romo, who are excellent as well. I'll admit my Chiefs bias on that one :D

We need a Harlan fan club with shirts that say "I'M CALLING BOTH GAMES!"
