Move him to RT. JTLT lets GOOOOOOOOOOO
|
Thuney was pretty good at LT on Sunday.
|
We don't need him against the broncos but we definitely need him back for the likely first-round matchup with the Chargers.

vs Thuney (contract already signed) Thuney looked as good as Brown Sunday. I'm not sure that keeping Thuney at LT, adding a guard, wouldn't be a better move. |

Everyone saying Thuney looked good at LT on Sunday- sample size folks. Ain't a bad thing to keep Orlando at LT and have Thuney as a contingency plan. Can never have enough good linemen, blessed to have the ability to move Thuney to LT in dire need.

Do we give Brown a new huge contract or not? He is going to want 16-20m per year. If Thuney is as good as Brown at LT then it might influence our decision about the Brown contract. |
I thought Thuney looked good for the situation / circumstances he found himself in. but several plays he looked like a G playing LT.
Keep Thuney at G. |
was hoping it was Scandrick to replace Sorenson

Oh man, Darrell Williams made this awesome catch. We should just keep him and use him as a WR when Reek's contract is up. He's cheap and just as good....I mean did you SEE the catch that Reek dropped last week? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/AcftxeBEsOU" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> Maybe we should redo the word filter to use JakeF instead of Reerun |
You have to look at how things are constructed along the entire line. We are paying Thuney big money, and Brown will also get big money, and here is the deal we can afford to do that since we have the rest of the line on rookie contracts for the next three years.
The Oline is too important to try and save a few bucks on. If this was the mindset for the Chiefs, then the Brown trade is one of the worst decisions in the history of the NFL, because we could have drafted a LT with the pick we traded away. We did the deal. He is either getting tagged or signing a long term contract. Quit dreaming about what you want to do with an extra 15 million in cap space because its not happening. |
Orlando Bloom is back?? I always liked him.
