Steelers trade Chase Claypool to Bears

That's odd

redfan 11-01-2022 12:13 PM

Very Odd

Megatron96 11-01-2022 12:15 PM

Wow. What'd they get?

Red Dawg 11-01-2022 12:18 PM

He must be thrilled (not). At least will demand the bag and they will pay it so good for him. Steelers are done if you didn't think so already.

Talk about out of the fire and into the pan. Bears suck too.

chiefzilla1501 11-01-2022 12:20 PM

I don't think it's odd.

They need to give fields something to work with so he can grow. And they have an outside shot at being a bubble playoff team. They're in that unique category of teams where progress is a great goal and way more realistic than a championship.

They're no longer tanking. And they can't throw fields out to the wolves every week. Even if they overpaid it makes sense to me

Knowing the Bears, probably three first rounders. LMAO

Exactly. There should be a rule against this.

The bears 2nd round pick

Keep in mind they traded away two blue chip defensive players.

Their priority is to rebuild, save a ton of money, but not throw fields bloody body into a shark pit. This move checks all those boxes. It's a solid move.

Pringle+Claypool=Super Bowl

ChiTown 11-01-2022 12:53 PM

lol

CatfishBob2 11-01-2022 01:00 PM

Chase Claypool+new offense+being a clear top 2 option with a QB with a live arm that isn't a statue. I'm a little intrigued

The Bears do seem to have some potential. The beatdown they laid on New England was amazing. I guess a second rounder isn't that bad. They still have a ton of holes to plug. Pace did a ton of damage there before they finally greased him. He was their Pioli, except he lingered much longer.
