Agreed. I liked bumblebee a lot.

I've kind of fallen off the Transformers wagon since the last few have come out but I did enjoy the first few.

The original Transformers, dare I say, was a legitimately good movie too.

And I used to love Beast Wars. Ugh. I guess I'm in.

No Megan Fox

Megan Fox isn't even Megan Fox anymore. Sad thing that.

As to the movie, yeah, that looks pretty bad.

If optimus primal doesn't say "that's just prime" at least once the movie is a bust.

Unicron, huh? Well, if we don't get Ultra Magnus, HotRod, Omega Supreme, and Megatron getting turned into Galvatron, then count me out on this farce! #transformers1986forever

This one isn’t much different than the last handful that have come out.

Only difference in this one is it’s set in 1994 NYC mostly. Or at least it follows a couple characters from Brooklyn anyway and leaned heavily into the 90s rap aesthetic. Oh, and instead of a T-Rex and pterodactyl it’s a gorilla and cheetah.

Mirage was pretty cool, I suppose. I was surprised to find out he was voiced by Pete Davidson. Bumblebee was cool too. He’s always a fan favorite.

Don’t go out of your way to watch it but if you keep expectations low, you may enjoy it a bit.

The only reason I watch these anymore is due to a bit of nostalgia. I have just never been a huge fan of these movies. Every fight scene is basically impossible to figure out. It is just a buch of metal being ground together.

Transformers were always my favorite growing up, but the movies are so far off that none of it gives me any nostalgia. The only thing that did was the opening scene in Bumblebee. And even that wasn't anything incredible, but it did at least have recognizable characters.
