And Mahomes went scorched Earth on the Fade the next week.

Huge update.

Dude is freaking unreal.

TLO 01-23-2023 12:33 PM

What injury is he referring to in 2019?

Direckshun 01-23-2023 12:34 PM

Better than bad does not equal good.

But... hey.

High ankle sprain he suffered in week one. It got aggravated IIRC by Cam Erving being completely ****ing worthless and stepping on it.

That was the dislocated kneecap. Reid is talking about the ankle sprain he had against Jacksonville week one.

Wrong.

You’re thinking of the dislocated kneecap.

Andy is referring to when he got his ankle rolled up on against Jacksonville in week 1.

Mahomes injured his ankle in Week 1 of the 2019 season, also against the Jaguars, and didn't miss any time, throwing seven touchdowns and averaging 409 passing yards while leading the Chiefs to victories the next two games, according to ESPN Stats & Information research.
And I believe Cam Erving stepped on him at some point during the Colts game and reaggravated it.

That was after his kneecap got nocked sideways.

Oh!

WOW. Really?

He played super well that year, managing that injury.

Talking about dodging a bullet.
