What they said about the Chiefs offseason (starts at 1:23:00):

• They appreciate that they didn't make a ton of huge splashes. Even the Jawaan Taylor move was made to avoid overpaying Orlando Brown.
• Donovan Smith was a decent signing, allowed Taylor to remain on the right side and they believe he's about to be an elite passblocking tackle.
• Omenihu was a smart signing, should play inside a ton. Chiefs did a really good job circling back to DE over and over.
• FAU was a great draft pick.
• Wanya Morris has the "potential to develop into a starting tackle."
• BJ Thompson is a wild prospect, "has the tools to make an impact."
• Rashee Rice is a favorite move of theirs: he's an amazing player but his tape is perplexing. The Andy Reid system should be able to make good on him.
• Least favorite move: they don't have a true nose tackle, but they suppose they're calculating teams will just pass on them all season to keep up with Mahomes. But they're going to need people to come in and stop the run.
• It's also questionable they paid Taylor what they paid him to play right tackle, and then flirting with him moving to the left side was also ill-advised.

I think we might still add 1 more to the DL group.

A good assessment. And it shows how hard it’s going to be for the Chiefs to maintain their edge over Cincinnati and Philadelphia. It really depends on whether we get a star to emerge from the three wide receivers. (Moore, Rice and Toney) . Too bad we weren’t smart enough last year to pick up Calvin Ridley. He’s going to make a great difference for Jacksonville.

It looks like the Chargers win the offseason.
