Finally got a chance to start playing it this week. Gotta say, Definitely worth the grab in my opinion if you liked SNES RPGs or RPGs in general. Didn't see any posts about it, so I figured I'd throw something on here for anyone that enjoys SNES RPG style video games.

I Played this company's previous game 'The Messenger' which was essentially a love letter to Ninja Gaiden and Metroidvania style games and a very fun game. Saw about 6 months ago they were working on Sea of Stars and that is was supposed to be very much inspired by Chrono Trigger, which in my opinion is one of the best games ever made. You can tell where this game was inspired by it in multiple facets.

Also, if you liked Ninja Gaiden on the NES, make sure you play 'The Messenger'. That game was awesome.

Oh shit it's finally out? Hadn't been paying attention. Totally grabbing this when I'm done with my first Starfield playthrough.

Portal Assassin seems like a neat character. Loved the warrior chef hitting with a pan

I'd recommend "Within the Blade". its a fighting platformer with stealth and crafting and weapon specialization. or you can fight/assassinate unarmed

I started playing this game over the weekend. Pretty good so far but I'm only an hour in.

I beat Sea of Stars. It's a pretty great game. Good story, good animation and lots of stuff to do. It's pretty linear for the first half of the game but opens up as you go and there are side quests all over the place.

I got this game for Christmas, I really enjoy it so far. It's basically a love letter to SNES and early PlayStation RPGs. If you played Chrono Trigger and Mario RPG you'll like this

Also I got Trials of Mana which is a 3d remake of secret of mana 2 that never came out but had an unofficial translation. It's pretty good but it's definitely a SNES RPG with updated graphics (which I like)
