Super Bowl 4: (Hat-tip to Matriculating Hawk)


Super Bowl 54:


Super Bowl 57 (the NFL hasn’t posted the full game. A dub with the Holthus and Hughes call is out there, but I’m not sure how the mods would feel about me posting that.


Super Bowl 58:

I have a weird thing about watching sports games in which I already know the outcome so I basically never re-watch whole games.

Our Super Bowls also all feature lengthy periods that provide a lot of frustration given the fact that we were down 10 points at some point in each of them.

That said, second half of the Eagles and second 49ers games were awesome. Back half of the 4th against the 49ers was also all us and pretty cool to see from time to time. Total buzzsaw.

I could watch us beating the 49ers in OT over and over.

Oh ****, every day to see the air go out of the 9ers in Pat’s first SB. The vision of playoff Damien getting the block from Pringle to seal off the inside and the ball being raised high as he goes to the EZ…

What service are you rewatching on? I have NFL+, but the picture sucked when I rewatched 58 a few weeks ago.

game against the eagles was def the most entertaining, and probably the best team we’ve beaten in the SB so far

Hurts was lights out. It’s between him and Brady for the best QB performance in a losing effort in my opinion.

I think it’s still 54 for me. It was the most emotionally powerful one to watch.

If we’re ever blessed with a boring blowout SB win, that will probably be my favorite one to watch start to finish.

I’ve watched all the surviving footage available of SB 4, and I definitely enjoyed it, but it’s just a different experience. I just don’t know those players apart from a few clips and the stories and history. That SB is certainly a part of my fandom, but it’s a different part of my fandom.

Honestly, I'm probably going with 4 just because I've never seen it. Or at least, not when I was old enough to understand it.

I went with 54 because of FINALLY breaking thru after 50 years of frustration. That doesn't mean the other (57 & 58, and of course 4) are any less important.
