So big it barely fits in the box...
My rog strix 3080 ti, that is. Never got to say that before either way.
So until my next 5 leg parlay or KC super bowl (9 month wait at most) I won't get the most out of this gaming on a 1080p TV at 60hz. I'm just not a monitor guy and I like gaming on the TV. 4K will happen this year for sure after getting a used upgrade at GPU. So, I assume after locking this thing at 60 frames at 1080 I can max most settings out? I'm traveling almost a decade behind here but it's a solid step up for me and figured I'd ask the vet PC gamers to get the most of what I've got for now. Perhaps grab a cheap ass monitor to throw on an end table when the wife watches some intolerable shit on TV. |
I run into that problem frequently…..

You can get a high refresh 27" 1440p monitor for 150-160. Got one for my son and it was a massive upgrade. Startling upgrade, far more than any gpu on a 1080p monitor.
I don't know how you game on a huge TV, I tried it and it was not pleasant compared to my wide 2560 setup. With a 3080ti you should do fine. Some new games are the absolute dogshits when it comes to optimization, but 60 fps is nothing. |
Thats what she said.
