Our prayers have been answered!! NO more Dishman!!! However, I don't see how they cut Dar Dar...he looked pretty good returning kicks.

Mike 08-27-2000 04:13 PM

Looks like they kept Waters over Smith too. Jeff Smith was cut!!!!! Yes!

AustinChief 08-27-2000 04:17 PM

Something I noticed. All of the WR we cut were 5'9" (Bruce, DarDar, Kitchins). I think this goes to the "Taller is Better" mantra of Gun's.

Ok, Gun is starting to make this team like a LOT of the fans wanted. Who did we hear about getting the axe? Most everyone wanted these players GONE...Now they are.

I'm pleased...This team is definitely in a metamorpisis...

I guess Carlton Gray was kept! His cap number must be low http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

Overall this is good news, I think they did a good job. Keeping Donald Willis and Darnell Alford is good for the future of the O-line IMO.

Cool! My Dishman prediction was actually right! I'm just glad my Anders prediction was wrong... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

My biggest disappointment was DarDar, everytime he touched the ball he did something good. He made people miss when he played WR, he looked like a playmaker.

I think our secondary could have some HUGE issues this season. We might have one of the most likely to get burned secondaries in the league.

Glad to see this bum get his walking papers. Highway 26 no longer runs through Kansas City.

Wonder if the Raiders will sign him?

AustinChief 08-27-2000 04:41 PM

Morpheus,

True enough, however, I'm willing to trade a season of potential burning to get a bunch of hard hitting, fast, young guys back there. That's the only way we're going to get better, throw them into the fire.

Dishman a Donk?

HC_Chief 08-27-2000 04:43 PM

Morphious, I agree wholeheartedly.....What does Dar Dar have to do to make this team?<BR>
