So, how'd it go? Did ya manage to get a second date? Did you convince him to assassinate Jimmy Raye?

Tell us! Tell us everything!

Tony is sooooooo nice. I can't believe how nice he was. We saw Almost Famous - we both liked it...I'd recommend it, it was actually pretty good, I was surprised. And then we had dinner and talked. We actually didn't talk that much about football. We talked a little about the Raider game..he's ready for that one...he said that they're gameplanning today. And he agrees that whoever makes the schedules must hate the Chiefs...he wanted to know where our Cincinnati and Cleveland games were! But he said at least this way if we make it to the Superbowl, we'll know we earned it and didn't get there cause we had a puff schedule. And he said that he's definitely ready to get to the Superbowl..he's tired of just winning games. But that's really all the football stuff we talked about this. I just can't say enough about how nice he was. I had a great time! http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif<P>

Shannon, congrats! Glad you had a great time! He sounds like he was a pretty good guy. Any chance for second dates?

It is good that you had a nice time. Of course I don't know if this will live up to the "juicy details" that Gaz was looking for.

Coogs 10-11-2000 07:58 AM

LOL no, Fly...I never really expected there to be either. It was just awesome to get to hang out with him for an evening.

Morph - Yeah, I know...it's pretty lacking in "juicy details"....it's the best I can do though http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

It doesn't even live up to the juicy details I was looking for!... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/frown.gif

Sounds like you had a good time...but how could TRich go wrong... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/wink.gif

So I take it the topic of your friends from up north that need tickets never came up.

Oh well, glad you had a good time. It would be fun to hang with a Chief sometime, I am jealous.

milkman 10-11-2000 08:05 AM

Shannon - Did he give you a hand shake goodnight, just trying to reach Joe's idea of "juicy". Though, of course, I thought having a date would reach Joe's idea of "juicy"

jeff, and so it begins...or did it ever end?...the problem is I still have no skill...I've been cut from my own smack team so I sit and take it, what else can I do?...

BTW it was finally good to meet you the other night....

Jeff - Yup, there was a handshake and he did give me a ride to my car...so that was cool!

lyons - it's funny how that conversation never came up..weird, huh?

And I just talked to one of my friends and they have an extra ticket for the game on Sunday so it looks like I'll be going. Can my week get any better? Looks like I'm gonna have to go buy a TRich jersey now!

Fat Homer 10-11-2000 08:50 AM

Thank you Shannon for that "juicy" detail...jeff now I am satisfied....althought I must admit the Shockey line is in danger of dying out... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/frown.gif

Joe - We played volleyball at work yesterday, instead of working, and it just got me back into the smack talking mood, and you were on and... Maybe next time we will actually meet, not sure if your were going for a crack on that or not.

Fat Homer 10-11-2000 09:51 AM

Jeff, the only reason I even went the other night was to meet you...my fist just needed a place to plant itself and I thought your face would be a perfect place...of course even though Dole, Rod and Shannon have given me ****...I just couldn't bring myself to punch any of them...you on the other hand...different story.... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Shannon - I'm real jealous about the tickets, you got pretty lucky there. Scream loud for me, and if you have a voice afterward I will be very disappointed. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

Joe - I could have been there, but everyone else left before I got home. I called up there, but you all felt like getting to bed early.
