That's how we're winning games. Jaworski and all the other tards on ESPN need to die in a fire whenever they talk about the Chiefs and taking care of the football. That's the standard line, and it's code for, "This team is still shitty, but they're winning lots of games and we're not going to bother analyzing why they are."
It does get used as a cliche too often probably... but winning the turnover battle is extremely important. Teams that play wreckless Martzball and don't care about turnovers almost never succeed. That's why Vermeil used to preach it over and over... you can probably print off pages and pages of statistical evidence showing turnover differential makes a difference.
