I have absolutely no problem with so-called "pork", whatsoever. Never have, most of the "anti-pork" arguments are silly.
Either the project is needed, or it is not, and the local congressmen are more likely to advocate for whatever it is. If its a bridge to nowhere, feel free to go nuts with political ads. If its the Hoover Dam, I don't care which Senator asked for it.
I think its just hilarious that on such a high-profile bill, in this
bill of all places, a bill that would be scrutinized and combed through by everyone, that they put it in. You'd think they'd pick a lower-profile bill.
