I don't think it would be a case of Franklin playing hurt at that point. I agree that I would rather see a 100 percent Mauk than an unhealthy Franklin.
Seems like Pinkel and co. think he can be 100 percent recovered, quickly, at this point.
And there's a big difference in treatment/recovery, too ... he's apparently accepting any and all treatments to get back on the field (KK was right on that one, I think).
