For all we know, an AIDS comet could hit CoMo right before the next game. Focus on South Carolina, beat their ass, and then think about the next game. Don't get ahead of yourselves
- Pinkel's in-game coaching is still extremely worrisome. I understand the desire to be conservative against a team with a bad offense, but in two straight conference games we've gotten blitzed out of halftime. That needs to stop.
- For all the rightfully deserved props given to the players and coaches this year, recruiting is still abysmal. The staff needs to take advantage of this season. If they don't, this team is going to be a one-year wonder, not a perennial contender in the conference, and it has the resources and facilities to do that.
That doesn't mean that you shouldn't be ecstatic about the year so far, but don't start sucking dicks in celebration just yet, either. |
Great post. I'll disagree about getting blitzed after halftime against Florida, though. Baggett kicked the ball to the opposite side of the field of his coverage (per his own admission), and they had the easiest return TD I've ever seen. We answered every time Florida showed any life, and we out gained them 500-150.
We literally blew out Florida in a game that could have had a much larger margin.
