That's exactly my point - to sit around and bitch at the people that were ready to move on from Pinkel is just stupid, there are very very few coaches in D1 football that have the cache to survive the shots Pinkel took over the last 2 years (many of them self-inflicted).
Pinkel deserved his heat. Rather than apologizing to people that are beating their chests because "they believed in Gary all along!!!!!", I'd prefer tell them to grow the !@#$ up and be willing to critically evaluate their program.

But he was absolutely one deservedly so.
I will continue to laugh at fatalists. But at the least the fatalists have some reasoning behind the way they think...it makes sense.
Knee jerk reacting game thread dumb asses are simply the worst. Making fun of them while enjoying the games...it is a one two punch of fun that this season has blessed me with.
