The sophistry taking place is stupid. I get the argument. I've seen it a thousand times on this thread and others like it. "Well, see, it's a bad thing to name your football team these days, but over the years it's acquired it's own meaning just to refer to the football team such that Redskin is now something people call a football player from Washington, so..."
No. That's a shitty reason for keeping the team name.
Give me a good reason for keeping Redskins.
