I am more down on the MO prep talent than others in this thread. We do poorly in St. Louis, yet I can't remember too many St. Louis "misses" (other than Montee Ball) that went on to do much of anything in college.
If anything, I think we need to focus more attention on Illinois. That state produces 5-8 4* kids a year. We should pick off a few of those kids every year.

I definitely agree regarding Illinois.
The move to the SEC should've helped us make inroads into Illinois as much as anywhere, but I don't think we're really focusing our efforts there.
Snagging a few 4* guys that want to go play 'Bama, Florida, LSU and Georgia (and get on TV several times/yr) shouldn't be hard when they grew up a couple hundred miles from campus.
