Ya really it just hurts depth. Prinz would play if Mauk is hurt for an extended period of time even if Berk had remained healthy.
Hearing that is good news as we all saw what Berk looked like last yr so Prinz passing him so quickly bodes well. The thing to fret about if is more that we'd be down to our 3rd string QB in that scenario in general.
As for whether he'd be ready...I mean he's a true freshman. Rarely does that work out. It's just too much to ask usually so hopefully we don't find out.
