That's the most devastating loss I've ever been a part of as a sports fan. Oh, and we had some serious recruits in town for it, including a nice LB recruit that came when he cancelled his visit to Oregon when Gameday was in town.
The loss was simply the epitome of Mizzou fandome. It distilled what being a Mizzou fan is to it's most pure form - 1 single quarter of absolute skull-****ery, a glimmer of hope, then !@#$ing conversion on 4th and 15 and a missed FG after having 1st and goal from the 8 to win it.
Honestly, just running the replay through my head again and I'm still stunned by it.
No, I'm going to have to repeat myself - **** any Mizzou fan that's criticizing other Mizzou fans for being apoplectic over that loss. If you love your program, that loss should've absolutely rocked you to the core.

I was at home and couldn't even talk to another living being. It wasn't exactly anger, but I was incapable of having civil discourse with anyone for about 30 minutes following the game.
