I was thinking more along the lines of the story I read the other day about the lady CBS interviewed on TV. She paid $53\month for her plan and come to find out it didn't cover hospitalization and literally only covered $50 of anything else.
She was complaining that she couldn't afford the new plans but how the **** could she afford her medical bills if she went to the hospital?
I was about to buy a "catastrophic" plan that was HSA eligible that would have cost me $135 a month. It had a $6,000 deductible and covered preventive care and $0 after deductible.
That same plan is now $250 a month.
