I thought the biggest play was Bess' fumble. 7 minutes to go in the game, Alex Smith had just missed a wide open Donnie Avery for a probable touchdown, we were punting for the 4th consecutive time in the half, having gained a whopping 37 yards since halftime, and Cleveland would have had the ball near the 50 yard line, down by 3. Momentum was fizzling away like a fart in a windstorm. And then the punt returner punts it back to us.

Of course the offense does basically nothing with the ball once they have it, gains 1 first down (on a defensive holding call) while losing 6 yards, but it did allow KC to bleed 3 minutes off the clock and give Colquitt a chance to pin cleveland inside the 20. And of course the muff directly stopped what almost certainly would have been at least a tying score for the Browns due to the field position we would have given them had he held onto it.

That play literally turned the game, and gave us to opportunity to not lose the battle of attrition.
