The difference in ours is about $400 a month. $200 a biweekly paycheck.
The max you can contribute to an HSA is something like $6300. I'm trying to get close to the max but I won't hit it this coming year. It's going to suck for the first half of the year for me though as my wife and I both take medicines that will come straight out of pocket before I have a chance to build up a balance.
After the first 6 months, I think I'll be fine though.
