We've been through this a million times. Reagan would be left of center on this forum. Eisenhower would be a flaming liberal. I have a feeling you get this, but most posters on this form have no idea how far right they've been pushed by the conservative media bubble.
Again, I'll be glad to link you to long threads on the poker site where I rant and rave about public-sector unions, food stamps, go to bat for charter schools and plenty of other similar issues.
I realize it's very important for conservatives to think that anyone who disagrees with them must be a left wing loony. But there are plenty of us to think for ourselves, and would probably be Republican in another era - but right now just can't begin to stomach the extremism of the current Republican Party. I know a lot more of these kinds of people in real life than I do who participate on political forums.
