I can't remember who wrote it, but I read a book or a magazine article at one point about Oklahoma's football teams in the 1950s. I have no idea why anyone would have willingly joined that team. Civilization completely broke down on those teams.
The one thing that I particularly remember, other than the Oklahoma drill, was that they would do some sort of race on their hands and knees. Everyone would put a grape in their rectum to start the race, and whoever came in last had to eat the grapes. I think I would have transferred to Northwestern before the instructions were even out of the coach's mouth on that one.
