One thing I have been wondering about is part of the voice mail message where Incognito says, “[I'm going to] slap your
real mother across the face [laughter].” Could be that Incognito got close enough to Martin to find out some personal secrets only to embarrass him and throw it out in the open.
I get the sense that the Dolphins were trying to get out of this by releasing their original statement:
Quote:
“Our primary concern for Jonathan is his overall health and well-being.”
"We will continue to make Jonathan's health and well-being a focus as we do with all of our players."

Based upon the assumption Martin had a nervous breakdown, playing down all of this.
Did the Dolphins really think they could sweep this under the rug?
Moreover, what does this mean?
Quote:
Incognito has had to be reprimanded in the past for his actions toward team employees, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. It is not uncommon for him to intentionally walk into people and make others feel uncomfortable, and to make threatening remarks to Martin, sources said.

This should cost the Dolphins' coaches and front office their jobs the way they have handled the Martin situation.
Many believed Jeff Ireland should have been fired when he asked Dez Bryant was his mother a prostitute and his father a pimp. What a POS organization.
