I agree. I think that both PS & MS have an idea of what they REALLY want their consoles to be down the road and these versions are just stepping stones. Hell, MS was taking a bigger step initially, but everyone whined about the changes so they pulled everything they could. We ended up with what is basically a battle between the PS3 version 2.0 & the Xbox 360 version 2.0.
