I've tried to obtain an Auto from George once and he denied me. No problem there. I kindly asked but definitely understand if someone doesn't want to sign, especially for an adult. I collect autographed baseballs and have gotten quite a few from the younger minor league guys who are much more willing to sign.
When the Royals were here in Surprise AZ, all the guys signed for everybody. Moose and Hoz simply asked that kids get theirs first. I've had players tell me they only will sign for the kids and don't sign for adults. And I'm ok with that.
