I've said it before and I'll say it again. PROSECUTE THE PARENTS. There's been other threads here on cp about kids doing horrible things, kids who are under the age of 18.

I say if you make their parents liable for damages, all this type of crap ends IMMEDIATELY. For these gang kids in inner cities who probably have no father figure in their lives, hold their Moms or older sibling responsible, that is, force them to pay for damages or lock them and the perp kids up.

Something has to radically change in how we, as a society, approach youth crime. What we are doing IS NOT working. Kid's are getting worse and their behavior is blamed on everyone but the people most responsible, their parents. I guarantee you that if parents where liable for thier kid's actions, a whole hellava lot of this crap would stop. Not all of it, but a heck of a lot of it would be curtailed.
