History says teams with these kind of turnarounds won't win a playoff game... but no 2 win team has ever come close to 9-0 either. And the AFC isn't particularly strong... so who knows. Last year was about as low as you can go. Nothing about this season is depressing though, unless you just want to be miserable.
I'm not really depressed, but I doubt we go to the playoffs two years in a row with Alex Smith.
