Need more weapons? He doesn't use the ones he has. Crabtree started to produce when Kap took over for Smith. So its no surprise Bowe's stats are down this year.
The problem with the offense is Alex Smith.

Crabtree caught 3 TDs in Alex's last 20 passes as a 49er and was pretty much already on pace for 1k before Kaep entered the lineup. All that really happened was Vernon Davis's production went towards Crabtree when they made the switch.
Our right side of the line has been a disaster so far. They will probably let Albert walk and then move Fisher to the left side and then shore of the up right side in FA or draft another tackle.
Bowe has not lived up to his contract. Regardless of QB, he's been dropping routine passes that hit him in the hands and the amount of "big" plays have been way too few to make up for those mistakes. There have been multiple times where there's room infront of him to make a play but he steps out of bounds or trips and falls by himself (happened this past game). I'm just not seeing the heart out there which is funny because it looks like he goes all out when he's run blocking..
