You're goddamn right, they are. They don't put a 1.5 pt line on a team with huge public sentiment because they hate the action, or expect much on Mizzou. If there's one thing I've learned in my brief time spent watching sports gambling (I don't partake... much), it's that Vegas is good at two things: 1) knowing where the public wants to put their money, and 2) taking that money. I like Vegas lines to get a feel for how teams should fare, but I can never pay much attention to games like this, since there will be so much money on the table, and the lines-makers deal far more with public sentiment than actual predictions. That said, a line that low screams that if they were somehow mandated to reveal their true lines, it'd probably be Mizzou -2.5 or so.
